Konnects Inc. is an online business networking platform designed to give the power of online social networking to traditional businesses and professionals. The company does this by creating a basic network of online professional networking sites. Using the Konnects software platform, traditional organizations also have the opportunity to create their own branded online professional social network as a private or publicly viewable community.

How do I add my contacts?
There are two ways you can add your contacts:

1. You can import you contacts through your email server. Click on your email server icon. Then type your email address and email password. All of your contacts will then appear on the screen. You have the option of adding who you want to have as your contacts.

2. If you only want a few of your friends or co-workers to be added as one of your contacts, then you can manually input them. Adding your contacts only increases your chances of networking with other members.

What are Contacts?

Contacts are people that you know. They can be family, friends, co-workers, or other professionals. It is important that you invite and add your contacts because it will increase your success of being apart of the Konnects site.

What if I do not have any contacts?

Konnects is a great way to meet new professionals in or outside of your profession. Try using our search option to find someone to Konnect with. Or try looking at our interest groups. You can join any public group that strikes your interest.

How I can chat with my contacts?

On your Home page, you will see your konnections on the right hand side of your profile. Click k on the picture of the konnection you would like to chat with. When their profile comes up, just below the picture of the konnection there is a link to send the konnection a message. Click on that link, when you do a message window will pop up. Enter your message then click send, to send you message.



Do I have to invite my contacts?

Inviting people that you know, can only increase your network and success when using Konnects. The benefits of inviting your contacts are:

  • 1. You can refer each other to other services.
  • 2. Search your friends contacts for other business oppurtunities.
  • 3. Have your friends leave recommendations on your page.
  • 4. A great way for friends and co-workers to connect and be social.

I have received an invite from your site, what do I do?

A person that you know is a Konnects member. This person has invited you to join Konnects. You can do this by clicking on the link and starting your profile.

I have already received one invite, why am I getting more than one?

There are many people who invite others to join Konnects daily. One possibility is that more than one person that you know is a Konnects member. You would receive an invitation from each of these members that is inviting you to join them.

Why did I receive an email reminding me to accept an invite?

This is a simple reminder for the invitation that you have recently received from someone you know. Please click on the link at the very bottom of the message to accept the invitation. Signing up is free and only takes one step.

How do I find out who I sent invites to?

Something I might suggest, on your home page under the inbox tab, click the My Contacts link and scroll down. The page will show you who you are konnected to and who you are pending konnection with.


How do I finish my profile?

To start utilizing Konnects it would be beneficial for you to finish your profile. Start with just text and do not upload an image yet. I suggest you fill out the 4 mandatory fields:

  • Keywords to find you
  • Products/Services Offered
  • Industry Experience
  • Affiliated Organizations/ Businesses


What are Leads?

Leads are a tool that Konnects provides which automates the networking of our members. This is based on the information entered by all users in the “who I am looking for section” of your profile. Our system automatically matches your keywords with other members’ keywords. Konnects will automatically send you message when a match is found.

How do I change my password?

After you login you are brought to your home page. Under your picture there are three links: View, Edit and Stats. Click on the on the edit link. When you do you will be brought to an Update My Profile page. The picture you have up will appear on the right hand side of your screen. Underneath your picture you will see the Update Login and Password section; here is where you would be able to change your password.

How do I change my email?

When you are on your home page, just below the box for your picture, is an icon for "edit". Click on this. That will bring up your set-up details. In this area you can change your email address.

How do I upload my Resume?

Uploading your resume is a great way to let other members know what you have accomplished in your professional career. To upload your resume, please go to my profile and click on the upload my resume/portfolio. You will see a big box with a fake resume posted. Erase that content and copy and paste yours into the box. Click on the submit button.

Can anyone see my personal information?

Konnects takes our member's privacy very seriously. Konnects will not share your information with 3rd parties for marketing. Konnects has also taken great measures to ensure your profile does not contain personal contact information. It is entirely up to you to share your personal information with who you wish. If you choose to disclose your private contact information, Konnects claims no responsibility for how your information is used by the entity to whom you have given your information.

How can I increase my profile visits?

The easiest way to increase visits to your profile is to invite and refer your connections. Each time you invite or refer a connection you are given a "referral point". The member with the most points is always displayed at the top of the page of their business category as the "top networker". The more connections you have in your network the better the chances of new opportunities coming your way. You could be the most networked person in your city.

How do I update my Blog?

In order to update your blog, please go to the Profile section in the top navigation tool bar. Click “update my blog” on the drop down menu. From there, you will be able to write a blog.

How do I upload a photo?

Please go to the “update my profile” section. You will see a browse button. Click on the browse button and your computer will automatically search for your photos/images. Click on the photo that you would like to appear on your profile. Currently there is a size restriction of 128kb for photos. The size of the photo has to do with the kb size not the actual sizing of the picture. We are working on the ability to upload larger pictures.

How do I block a User?

To block a user from contacting you click the "block" button located on the left navigation when viewing a profile. This will block further communication from this user.

What are Recommendations?

Recommendations are a way for people to leave a great compliment to you on your profile page. Your personal contacts can leave recommendations about you and you are able to recommend them others as well. It is a great way to sell yourself and your services.

What if I don’t like a recommendation that someone gave me?

If you do not like a recommendation that someone gave or you do not want any recommendations, what is posted on your profile page is entirely up to you. You do have the option of deleting it when a new recommendation that is sent to you.

What are referrals?

Referrals are a tool that members can use to help refer other member.
• For an example, A contact of yours is looking for a person who specializes in event planning. You have a friend that is great in this area. You can refer that event planner, to the person who is looking for

How to I adjust the range for where I receive leads from?

The setting for the range of where you receive your leads is located in your profile set up. You can edit this information by clicking on the edit icon that is located directly below your picture on your member home page. Once in the edit profile area click on the “Contact Settings” tab. This is where you can edit the messages and communication you receive. The first section is for the range of where you receive your leads from.


How do I search for clients?

Click the Search link in the top Navigation bar. When the page loads you will see Search By: On the left of the page. Under the Search By, there is a keywords field, name field, title field, and company field. Type in a keyword, name, title, or company you are looking for members in. Once you click search, you will be shown a list of Konnects members that display the information you are looking for.

Can I limit my search to a certain area?

Click the Search link in the top Navigation bar. When the page loads you will see Search By: on the left of the page. Under the Search By:

  • Scroll down to Narrow Search by Region field
  • Click on the yes option
   Once you click search, you will be shown a list of Konnects members that are in the region you selected.


How do I post an Event?

To post an event, roll over your mouse to the Event link at the top navigation tool bar. Click on “post an event” Fill out the appropriate fields and click on Preview the event.

I am interested in attending an event posted, what do I do?

Please click on the RSPV NOW link in the top right hand corner. This will let the event organizer know that you are interested in coming.

What is an event discussion?

After people have attending an event that was posted on Konnects, Konnect users are allowed to discuss the event that they have just previously attended. You can simply click on the event that was posted and start talking about the event. It is a great way for the event organizer to receive feedback as well.


How do I post a Job on Konnects?

Posting a job is a simple process. Click on the jobs section on the top navigation tool bar. Click on the post a job link. From there, please fill out the following:

  • 1. Job Title
  • 2. Your company
  • 3. Country, City, State, and Zip code (if applicable)
  • 4. Job Description
  • 5. Email address to where the person can send their Resume
  • 6. Click Preview
From there you will be able to view your post. Click on the payment button. It costs $59.00 to post a job and it will expire in 30 days.

How can I find a Job on Konnects?

Please click on the job link on the top navigation tool bar. Konnects automatically displays jobs that match your job title and zip code to applicable jobs.
If you are looking to search in other areas outside of the profession you are in or in a different area code change the what and where areas. From there you will be able to search for jobs.

How long are jobs posted on Konnects?

After you have posted a job, your posting will expire in 30 days.


How do I post a classified ad?

When posting a classified ad, please roll your mouse over to the classified link on the top navigation tool bar. Click on post an ad. Once there fill out the appropriate fields. Posting a classified ad is free of charge. Your ad will stay on the site for 90 days.

How do I delete or edit my classified ad?

Please roll your mouse over to the classified link at the top navigation tool bar. Click on the “My Classifieds”. Your ad will appear and click on either the edit or delete option.


What are groups?

Groups are great tools for Konnects members to step outside of professional networking world and use their personal interests as a way to connect with people and share your expertise.

How do I find a group that I want to join?

There are over 100 groups on Konnects. Roll your mouse over to the Groups in the top navigation tool bar. Click on Browse Groups. You can either type in the keywords of a group that you would want to join or search the groups that we already have.

I found a group that I want to join, but it is not allowing me to join, what has happened?

Some of the groups are private on Konnects. This means that the person, who started a group, has made it private for themselves and the people that they have invited.

How do I start a group on Konnects?

To start a group on Konnects, roll your mouse over to the groups section. Click on Create a Group. Please fill out:

  • 1. Your Group Name
  • 2. Industry your group would fall under
  • 3. Group Description
  • 4. Add a group image
  • 5. If you want your group to public or private
  • 6. Where you want your group to display
  • 7. If you want events to display on your group
  • 8. If anyone can post events on your group
Click Create my Group and your group will be ready to go!!!


What is a premiere membership?

A premiere membership is an upgrade from our free service. With a premiere membership, you would be able to :

  • Send unlimited messages
  • Promote your events
  • advertise your profile
  • sell your products/services through classifieds
  • receive discounts on premiere offers
  • receive unlimited leads from people that you want to connect with
The pricing of the premiere membership:
  • 1 month for $7.50
  • 3 months for $19.50, 6.50 a month
  • 6 months for $33.00, 5.50 a month
  • 1 year for $54.00, 4.50 a month

How do I upgrade my membership to a premiere membership?

In order for you to upgrade to a premiere membership, please go to the “advertise my profile” link underneath your photo. From there you will see the benefits and payment options. You must have a credit card/debit card in order for you to pay for a premiere membership.

I want to limit the amount of emails I receive from Konnects, how do I do that?

There is a way to limit the amount of emails you receive from Konnects. Please go to the settings option in the very top right hand corner of the page. Click on settings. Please scroll down to the very bottom of the page. You may change your message settings to immediately, daily, or weekly. You are also able to change your leads to the same.

I have received an invite from your site, I do not want anymore emails to be invited to be sent from your site, what do I do?

Please email output@konnects.com. We will put you in our automatic global out-put system.

What is Konnects’ Spam Policy?

At Konnects, we take spam very seriously. Konnects is actually the most compliant networking site in the market. Each email that members send out, from our system, meet all laws of the CAN-SPAM ACT of 2003.

Konnects does the following:

Every single one of our emails has a: “TO”, “FROM” and our routing information.
Our subject line’s never mislead a member to believe that it is something deceiving. Every email, including our invites, has a global opt-out option. If you choose our global opt-out option, we will remove your from our email list within the 10 days of receiving the email.
